With each question in the ACLU's Privacy Quiz, you're not only told what information a quiz author can see - you're shown it. For example, after answering the first question, you learn that almost everything on your profile, even if you use privacy settings to limit access, is available to the quiz. Then, a graphic is shown which reveals selected information retrieved from your profile including hometown, groups you belong to, events attended, favorite books, and more.

Twitter has entered the top 50, in at number 42 with an estimated 21.2 Million monthly uniques. Twitter first entered comScore's Top 50 in June '09. Note that comScore probably undercounts Twitter's audience by a lot, because many Twitter users don't visit twitter.com but use third party clients. We reported last week that an estimated 65% of Twitter users still use twitter.com, so it may be undercounted by as much as a third (but it's hard to know for sure, as many people use both the Web and third party apps).

One of the comments mentioned that comScore doesn't take into account SMS which is a big feature for Twitter. Combine that with the 3rd party services and Twitter is a "big deal."

I don't write letters = I email
So, yeah - my daily routine would be "significantly disrupted".
Lifestreaming: Bringing it all together
After reading Mark Krynsky's post over on the Lifestream Blog, I've decided to give Posterous a go as the centralized entry area for my stream to the interwebs. What does that mean? Well - for you, nothing. If you read my updates on twitter, you'll still see them there - ditto for Facebook, FriendFeed, or my old blog. My goal is to bring some order to the chaos and to remove any duplicate postings. One slightly irrelevant side note: I signed up for Posterous back in July 2008, but never found a way to integrate it into what I was doing. It was probably a lack of foresight, but I don't recall it having all these nifty feature back then.
